Keep the Energy Flowing.

Nature changes daily.   So do our bodies.   Can we let the energy flow completely throughout the body?  Can we really BE in the body?  Can we, for a moment, stop the vrttis (mind fluctuations) and completely absorb ourself in every cell of the Body?   And then once we have that awareness can we watch the prana through the vehicle of the breath?  Can we observe the places it goes and where it doesn't go?   Can we be present?  Totally, unabashedly absorbed in our Inner Spirit?  Can we feel the beautiful, miraculous life force flowing through us?

These are my thoughts for the day.

  1. Karen,
You are a prolific writer and I eagerly anticipate reading your blogs. I haven't been to yoga since mid-December. We helped my daughter move out of our house into her own new house with help of government stimulus package. I also finally realized that my abdominal bloating is partially due to gallbladder and that the yoga was massaging and relieving me of my gallstones. Once I get my daughters room completely cleaned out, I want to make half the room a yoga space and half the room an art studio space. When you get back to Santa Fe and start classes again, I'd like to get your input on a yoga routine I can do daily. I found some chairs I can use, so I just need some belts, blocks, bolsters, and mats. I'd also like to buy your German chiropracters props. I look forward to a new phase of my journey.

  3. FM--maybe try one bolster and a blanket? low back should not be sore after asana, my dear sir.

Vicki--happy to help you with your props collection and advise on a daily sequence when I return. I highly recommend Mary's Sundays classes...so that you are at the very least "maintaining".

Glad you both are reading the blog. Karen
